Rocky Mount H.O.G. Chapter No. 3550

Check "Events" tab for Chapter Activities and Notifications along with other area events.
Rocky Mount H.O.G. Chapter invites anyone who shares the joy of finding that secluded winding country road where all you hear is that unique bellowing Harley sound as it echoes off the roadside tree line to come join our Chapter. The Chapter meets the first Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m. on the upper floor of the Rocky Mount Harley-Davidson's Surplus Store. Membership varies between 100 to 125 members. After a brief meeting, please stay to share supper with us at the Highway Diner and just maybe clue us in on that country road you like to ride.

2-25-09:

The Rocky Mount H.O.G. Chapter presented the Nash County DARE Program with a donation of $500 to help kick off the Chapter's 2009 Bike Raffle for this year's 23rd Annual Toy Run. The Annual Toy Run helps provide toys for the area children through the Salvation Army.

The Chapter would especially like to thank the Nash County Sheriff Department for it's help with this event. In 2008, many of the deputies volunteered their time off duty to help with the traffic concerns allowing us to make this a safe event.

Sergeant Pair, Sergeant Lankosz-Motor Unit, Sergeant Dennis Wooten

Corporal S. Ricks

Investigator Bryant-Motor Unit, Investigator Strickland

Deputy B. Williams, Deputy Bobbitt, Deputy Pate, Deputy Gardner, Deputy Lynch, Deputy B. Ricks, Deputy Robbins, Deputy Winstead, Deputy J. Lewis

Thanks again for your help and support!

4-16-09:

Members,

Remember that the bike raffle tickets are at the front desk of the Dealership and are available to be picked up. They are broken up into packs of ten and can be signed out to members. Stop by soon and pick them up.

Also we are setting up 2-hour time slots during the hours of 10 to 2 each Saturday at the Dealership starting in May to sell tickets. Working a 2-hour time slot will count as a fund-raising event for those wanting to participate as a Chrome Club Member.

Check the Dealership's website "Events" calendar for time availability. Email me a time and date you would like to volunteer to sell tickets. In you email, select a couple of times in the order you would like to work. I will assign the first one available time. Doing this will help cut down on a particular time being taken, you selecting it and having to check back with you on an alternate time.

There will be some ticket selling times for Sam's Club and area events posted later. Let's get a jump on selling these tickets so we will not get in a push come October.

Thanks,

John Paul Haney

Director, Rocky Mount H.O.G. Chapter #3550

The Chapter is trying to get structured day rides for Saturdays and Sundays. Saturday day rides should leave the Dealership at 9:00 a.m.. Sunday day rides should leave the Dealership at 1:00 p.m.

Road Captains or Members willing to lead a day ride should contact Harold Hoffmeier harold@aagdnc.com. Information needed would be date of ride, destination and duration. With this information we can post it on the Events calendar so the membership can plan on which rides they wish to attend.

Short duration ride are needed. All rides do not have to be an all day event.

Help us make a great riding season.
