Outstanding service, particularly from Harlan Steed, who worked tirelessly to answer questions on an earlier visit even though he was in the middle of another sale. We witnessed the great customer service when a friend bought a bike there and were willing to drive two hours one way, even though there's a dealership in our home town, to experience it ourselves. Rates at/very near the top for any dealership experience we have encountered. The guys, Harlan, Jimmy, and Andy are true professionals, i.e. they genuinely care about people, not just making a sale. The sales, the financing, parts dept., their knowledge of HDs, and overall friendship extended brought us great comfort. In addition, the service dept. and the ladies working in the motorclothes dept. were very helpful and patient with us as well. We truly enjoyed the dealership, meeting the owner, and our repeat visits. I dont even know where to start...I owned my 2007 XL1200 Custom for about 3yrs and loved it but it was time to move on to bigger and better things. I knew without a shadow of a doubt I wasn't going anywhere else but RMHD. Found an Ultra Classic on the Internet I wanted to look at after arriving at the store I was helped by Jimmy and he showed me a better deal on a 2011 ultra classic, everyone including Andy and Harlan were extra helpful and made buying a pleasure, I was so excited about ridng my new bike I left my paperwork at the dealership, Jimmy had it mailed to me the next day. This is my second new Harley I've purchased from RMHD, I bought a new 2009 FLSTC in and a 2012 FLHTCU August 01. I got a great deal both times and the folks at RMHD are second to none. After the purchase in 2009 and dealing with these folks over the years, I didn't even check other dealers, I contacted Harlan Steed by phone, told him what I wanted on the bike, sealed the deal and picked up the bike a few days later. If you are really reading these testimonials and go anywhere other than Rocky Mount Harley then you deserve the over pricing and back room dealings you will get. I went to the dealership with a buddy to pick up his bike and ended up getting a 2011 Ultra. Jay Williams was a no pressure, to the point salesman which was exactly what I was looking for. I told him I had a trade in and he quoted me $1800.00 more than the quote I got locally. I asked if I could take my highway peg's and Brock the sales manager told me to go ahead and get them. (about $180.00) Brock then went on to say that he knew how expensive accesories can get and they (RMHD) was all for saving the customer some money if they could. I called the next day and asked Jay if I could get my low profile windshield and road gremlin bell off of my trade in, he said he would check and call me back. Jay called back and stated the general manager said yes (didn't expect that). (Low Profile Windshield ($150-175) I went in the dealership not really looking unless they met all my bottom lines, they exceeded all of my expections.The price of the bike lowered my monthly payment by $50.00, gave me $1800.00 more on my trade in than what I was quoted locally. No pressure, no hassle, fair price all the way around, great people to include but not limited to Jay, Brock, Eric, Chris and everyone who works for RMHD. 5 stars hell YOUR dealership should be voted best on east coast. You can bet I will be back and I will definately recommend you to anyone looking. One last thing My buddy and I went to one dealership in Hampton Roads and stood there looking for 20 minutes and noone ever approached us, 2 salesmen sat there socializing with each other and ignored us. We were on the road on our way from Atlantic Beach NC to our home in Rochester when our 1989 FLHTC quit charging. We were 75 miles from Rocky Mount Harley when we called and told the service dept what our problem was. Without hesitation they said they would hold the dept. open and take our bike in as soon as we made it in. With a lot of luck the bike made it to Rocky Mt. and the service manager and mechanic looked at the bike and immediately knew the problem. Of course with a bike that age the part had to be ordered which they did immediately and had it overnighted to the dealer. They got us a good rate at a good hotel and all the staff were very helpful and the part came in and was put in the bike immediately and we were back on the road. I recently purchased a used 2009 Heritage Softail Classic from Rocky Mount HD. A friend recommended them to me. so I put their website in my favorites. After shopping around my local area for nearly a year, I found my bike at a very good price here! I arrived at the dealer to check out the bike and it was absolutely beautiful. My thanks go out to Brock for giving me a great price on the bike, Eric, for a great buying experience, even though I used my credit union for financing. Chris for giving a great overview of the features etc. on the Heritage. These guys are excellent to deal with. All in all, the drive from Va. Beach was worth it and I saved a lot of money as the dealers in my area could not match the price. It's great to be 'in the wind 'again since I sold my old ironhead Sportster back in 1987. We stopped by Rocky Mount H-Dearly March and had our eye on a 2011 Road Glide Ultra. At the time I told Brock I would like to be on a new bike by the end of May. I stopped again May 6th on my way to a car race in Virginia. I test drove an Ultra and told Brock I thought I had made my decision and but that I wanted Cool Pearl Blue. He agreed to work up the "bottom line" and that we would talk the next day. By the time I talked to him Saturday morning he had my deal and located a bike, which they arranged to trade for. May 18th I broke it in riding it a little over 300 miles home. I cant say enough about Brock, Eric, Mo (who helped several times over the phone) and Chris. The "intro" Chris gave us when we took delivery was more thorough and complete than any I have ever encountered on a car or truck. The bike? You need one of these.

My experience with the staff at Rocky Mount HD was phenominal. I conversed with Jay Williams via phone & e-mail for several days to work out the deal for my 2011 ElectraGlide Ultra Classic Limited. He was extremely knowledgeable & went above & beyond anything I've ever experienced at any other HD dealership. And I was allowed top dollar for my 2010 ElectraGlide Ultra Classic trade. The business manager, Eric, made the deal go smoothly & explained everything to make the experience very comfortable for me & my husband. After the purchase, Chris in service explained everything about the bike to us & answered all our questions. We left the dealership feeling very good about the purchase & the overall experience. We are a 2 hour drive from Rocky Mount HD & it was well worth it to get the deal we did on our new Harley Davidson. I waited almost 20+ years for my first HD! I've got just about 5K on a Fat Boy Lo in silver! Eric, Brock, Jay, Chris and Mo-From an initial walkin several years ago between deployments, RMHD just felt right! No pressure! On my magical decision day Eric and Brock were there 100%. Minor issues with a slip-on were promptly resolved at the first 1K service. I even emailed a pic with a question to Brock about something-He answered my email and laid to rest the concerns I had. I just picked up my third Harley Davidson the second from Rocky Mount HD. I bought a Hertiage soft tail in 2005 and was very impressed with the entire staff. Everytime I have been in the store has been a very pleasent ex-perience. I got to thinking I wanted a new triglide. I had a small issue with my bike so I took it in to get it looked at. I got to talking about trading and not being sure what I wanted. I was allowed to ride a rental triglide home to see how my wife and I liked it. I decided that I wasn't 100% impressed with the trike so I went back and rode an Ultra Classic home. Now that was one smooth ride. When I called and talked to Brock and told him that was what I wanted we came to a price agreement pretty easy. Only problem was he only had one in stock and it was not the right color. Brock told me to give him a couple of days and he would get what I wanted. Sure enough he called me back on Thursday and said I could come pick up my bike on Friday. Once again I was treated very well when I arrived. There had been several bikes sold so Eric was very busy and I had to spend most of the afternoon there which gave me more time to add a couple more things to the bike. I really made the right decision with the Ultra and with Rocky Mount HD. It is an hour or so ride from home but thats just a good excuse to go for a ride to go shopping for more stuff. Thanks to the entire staff for my new beautiful motorcycle.

Picked up my second Harley-Davidson about a week ago and I don't think they provide enough space here for me to testify about what an outstanding experience I had with these fine folks! I bought my first HD about 6 months ago (an '05 Sportster) and, after riding it over the summer, it wasn't long before I knew I was ready for an upgrade. While researching bikes online, I came across Rocky Mount HD... wasn't even aware they had a dealership there. After my initial contact with them, I knew I had chosen the right place to do business. The beautiful '07 Dyna Super Glide Custom I bought from them is but one, small piece of my complete satisfaction with these guys. The cornerstones of Rocky Mount HD are its people. From the sales experience with Harlen, Brock & Eric, to Chris in the shop who went over the bike with me in great detail to ensure I was knowledgeable and comfortable with its operation, I left there more satisfied with this purchase than with any experience I've ever had on a major purhcase. Although it was a somewhat cold 48-mile ride home on my new bike, I actually didn't mind the crisp air. Rocky Mount HD had sold me a great bike with an experience I'll not soon forget. I purchased a 2011 Street Glide in April of 2011 from Rocky Mount HD. I did all my comunication with them via telephone and e-mail. All I can say is that when I was purchasing the bike it was a great pleasure. When I arrived I was in and out in about an hour. The bike was set up the way I asked for it to be. Why I'm really writting these comments is because I was trveling with my wife out of state and the bike lost rpms. I called the local HD service department and told them my problem all they said was get it here and we will check it out for you for $150.00 plus parts. I decided to call Rock Mount HD and asked for the service department. I told them what was wrong and they took the time to help me trouble shot it over the phone. Thanks to Rocky Mount HD for quality service all around. I will purchase my next bike from them. By the way the problem was the Power Commander V conection vibrated lose. The power comander was not installed by Rock Mount HD.

My friends and I were returning from a ride and stopped for gas in Wilson. On return to the interstate I experienced a problem with my clutch. Upon arrival at RMHD Chris checked and immediately pulled into shop. Problem was diagnosed, adjustments made and road tested. Was back on the road to Va. in less than an hours time. Additionally the owner John also treated me and my party to dinner at the dinner. Chris also informed me there was no charge for this adjustment. Talk about Customer Service.
