"My wife purchased a brand new '08 Electra Glide Classic for me for my 50th B-day on April 26, 2008. The staff at Rocky Mount Harley-Davidson bent over backwards to help her in this purchase. I had no idea at all that she had done this until I walked into the dealership and Harlen told me Congradulations !!!!! I was speechless(and teary eyed !!!) Harlen and Eric went the extra mile for her in getting the bike I wanted.The entire staff at RMHD made the entire expirience one I will never forget. "I have been nothing less than completely satisfied with the recent purchase of a 2008 HD FXDC (Dyna Super Glide Custom) from Rocky Mount Harley Davidson. I handled 90% of the deal via email with Brock. He was very helpful answering all of my questions and responding to my emails usually within a matter of minutes. When I arrived to take delivery, the bike was waiting with all of the accessories installed. The deal went exactly as promised with no surprises. Eric was very helpful with making the decision to finance or not. Greg was very informative about the bike and took the time to answer all of my questions on my first HD. "I picked up a used Road King from Brock last year. Brock went above and beyond with the trade in of my sportbike. While waiting to pick up my bike I met almost the entire staff that day and they were all very nice and approachable. I recently spoke with Brock about the purchase of a 08 Steet Glide and when I went to "other"dealers in my area they said they couldn't come close to the price Brock gave me, one salesman even walked away shaking her head. (Brock must be doing something right here!) It's worth the 125 mile drive from where I live to deal with Rocky Mount Harley Davidson. As long as I'm on the East Coast they have a customer. "I bought at 2005 FLHRCI (Road King Classic) back in June, 2006. The sales staff were very friendly, and they were never overbearing. I felt free to ask questions, test ride the bike, and the price I got was very fair.
I live close to Raleigh, and there are at least 2 dealerships which are closer to me, but I always choose to make the trip up Route 64 because Rocky Mount Harley is the best I've seen, and their prices can't be beat. I even had them do an exhaust upgrade, and I couldn't be happier!
They are definitely worth the trip!"

"I found the motorcycle I was looking for on your website. I email and called and talked to Brock in Sales. I came down in on a Saturday in March and purchased a Chopper Blue/Silver 2006 Ultra. The sales and F&I departments bent over backwards to get me out the door on my new ride. The service dept installed the extras so that I could get out and home before dark. Mike in F&I did a great job of getting me the payments I wanted. Later the bike developed a leak and the service dept took care of it in a very timely manner. Also the CB was not working, they were not able to make the repair while I was there, so they sent someone to Elizabeth City 2 hours away and picked up the bike made the repair and returned it to me.
I have been very pleased with all departments and the dealership as a whole. People are always very friendly when I am there.
I will recommend Rocky Mount HD to all of my friends!

"I had test driven a Heritage at a dealer in NY,but the salesman was unable ro get the color I wanted. As I left the dealer,my friend knew of a friend who had found a hard to find bike at Rocky Mount HD. I called Darryl and told him what I was looking for,he didn't have one but would get back to me. Well within days he found the bike and I'm the proud owner of a 2007 Heritage softail classic in Jake and Elwood blue sunglo. I've had the bike a month now and have 1800 miles on it already and get compliments everywhere I'm seen on the bike,most recently,in Maine and NH. I would recommend this dealership to anyone,a very pleasant and pressure free transaction,they couldn't do enough for me. Sorry so late with this review....been busy riding my new bike! :)"

"I purchased my 2007 Ultraclassic on December 7, 2007 and now have approx. 2000 miles on it. My wife and I love the bike. From the moment I talked to them on the phone to the day I picked up my bike they treated me like royalty. The drive from Chesapeake was well worth it. My Harley shopping experience over the years in Tidewater doesn't even come close to the quality of treatment I've received from Rocky Mount. "I shopped all around the DC metro and surrounding areas for my bike and basically couldn't get no satisfaction.. I was paying cash and felt that I should get a decent deal. A friend told me about Rocky Mount HD, so I called and spoke with Jimmy Lyles.. Right away I was impressed with Jimmy's willingness to look out for me.. Over a span of 3 or 4 days we worked out every detail of the purchase.. After about 2 weeks my bike was there and ready.. I travelled the 250 miles to give Jimmy the loot and pick up my 2006 Ultra Classic.. I thought that once I paid him that the nice guy act would end.. It was not an act.. Jimmy and the whole Rocky Mount staff are in a class by themselves.. It has been a year since my purchase and I still travel to Rocky Mount for all of my Harley needs.. Even to buy a T shirt. "Dear John. I never thought that I would be starting a letter with this salutation but the news I have is mostly favorable. I testify that I have really enjoyed my new FLHX. The recomendation that you made concerning our past riding experiences helped me decide which model to purchase.
It has been twenty some years since any time in a saddle and after the first few days of riding I discovered that a larger, more comfortable seat and a taller windscreen were needed to accomadate my ancient body. No problem, I had a catalouge and could find what I needed. I have ridden almost 3000 miles in six weeks. My butt is much more comfortable and I can see where I'm going. Although I have made these small observations I want to proclaim that your staff is very professional, highly motivated and extremely people oriented. I plan to continue to deal with Rocky Mount Harley Davidson and when its time to buy my next ride, I'll come and see you.

" RMHD redefined Customer Service for me. Trying to make a decision on purchasing a motorcycle was pressure enough for me and being able to do so without added pressure from the sales staff or finance mgrs certainly deserves 5 stars in my opinion.
There were so many choices regarding the color, the style, the wheels, the pipes, the controls, and not to mention the accessories! Well, Brock Pepper, Asst. Sales Mgr. was the man! He helped to put together "MY DREAM COME TRUE". I can't remember how many times I changed my mind with this or that, and Brock Pepper had the patience of a saint! He never once tried to pressure sale us, instead he simply respected my inability to decide at that point, and then encouraged us to think about it. He offered more than once, and did, "Hold" my bike. I know I was certainly a 'teacher of patience' for him. His professionalism, knowledge, smiles and sense of humor was greatly appreciated. Thanks Brock, your the best!!!
Oh yeah, Hats off to Britt, the Warrenty Mgr. He went into great detail regarding operating and caring for my new 2006 XL 1200 Sportster Custom Low. Britt was very professional and I was really impressed with his knowledge of motorcycles. He helped give me new comfort level in taking care of my bike and most importantly ... I drove 7 hours to RMHD to purchase my bike and my boyfriend drove 2 hours to purchase his at RMHD prior to buying mine. We had already visited over 7 other HD dealerships and believe me, the drive to RMHD was well worth it. They are the BEST! Thank YOU ALL at RMHD, I Love My Bike!!!

"We visited the dealership this past Saturday and had appointments to have a 5000 mile service on Caren's Low Rider and the 25000 mile service on my Wide Glide. Matt was the mechanic and I just wanted to say that we could not ask for more polite people than the employees at RMHD. From the moment we walk in the door we are greeted as "friends" and everyone makes you feel appreciated for picking their dealership for your business. We brought some friends with us this time to get service work performed and they were made to feel the same way.
